Montegrotto Terme and the Euganean Hills
Together with Abano, Montegrotto Terme is the main centre of the Euganean Spas, the largest health spa in Europe.
The Regional Park covers a natural oasis dotted with historical and artistic places, ancient villages, villas, gardens and monasteries. An enchanting area to be discovered with hiking tours, cycling routes, golf courses, horse riding.
The are many opportunities for fun and entertainment in the surrounding area even for the little ones. There are several facilities suitable for children with museums like the Butterfly Arc, The Esapolis, Il Castello del Catajo, the Museo del Volo (the Museum of Flight) of the Castello di San Pelagio.
Padua is one of Italy's major economic centres: a beautiful city of art and science with the old town dominated by the Palazzo della Ragione, built in 1218 as the headquarters of the courts and commercial area.
The main attractions are the Cappella degli Scrovegni, which contains frescoes by Giotto and considered masterpieces, the Basilica di S.Antonio , called Il Santo, and the elliptical Prato della Valle square, surrounded by the waters of the Alicorno and embellished with statues of the characters related to the history of Padua.
